B.) Get an extra copy of a friend's driver's license for the cost of him to get another one, so like ~$40 or however much it is in CA. He does look decently similar to me.

Depends if it is worse to get caught impersonating someone else or using forged documents in your state.

#2 is definitely the way to go. Bouncers do not give a **** who is on the ID (within reason LDO), just that you have an actual real ID.

Lol no. In my experience in LA, me and all my friends have fake IDS and most have never been taken. The only time mine was taken is when I was a drunk retard and forgot my "birthday". Fake ID imo, especially at a college type bar. Let me know where about in LA you are as that probably makes a difference.

I used my brother's id which you couldnt get any closer to me I ended up getting pull out of a bar by the cops cause I guess i looked under 19 i got 3 tickets using a flase id, under 19 at a bar, illegal possession of alcohol
missed my court date becuase of my ****ty lawyer ended up going to jail two fridays ago it was horrible was supposed to be in there for 5 days for city ordinances but got bailed out it was horrible being 18 in college 5 hours away from my home town just made it worse JUST WAIT TILL YOUR 21 TRUST ME even though the odds of this happening to you are slim it can happen and it blows

I will not be using this to buy alcohol. I will be using it to get into bars and clubs around the LA area and probably other places as well.

most places only do this for out of state IDs or if they don't think its you. Just get a copy of the dudes old school ID or something.

there are plenty of ways to enjoy college life without the possibility of getting busted for something dumb like this. You turn 21 in your junior year of college so thats a solid 2 years of ur college career being allowed to drink at bars, for the first two just buy beers and stay in ur dorm or your apartment or whatever. not worth the trouble you could get in imo

you just need to have some of your actual 21 friends scope how they check IDs.

for example, there are bars around JMU that scan, require two forms, and just have a bouncer look at it. if its just a bouncer looking at it is the only way i would risk anything.

one time we went to a bdubs and one of our friends who was 21 in like 2 weeks was borrowing the ID of one of the other people in our group (he has a military ID and a normal one). what we did was have one guy go to the actual bar and get a drink and have one guy use the ID at the table. then the other guy comes back with a drink and waitress has no need to check his ID because the bartender did. this place also only looks at it and doesnt scan or require 2 forms.

just err on the side of caution. bars suck anyway when compared to a house party, imo.
