Careful of the "easy" college classes Careful of the "easy" college classes

As a white guy, I took a black history class in college as it fulfilled some random diversity credit I needed. Two years later after further reflection, it was my least enjoyable class and to this day I regret writing some anti-white rhetoric, that I strongly disagree with, just so I could get an A- in his b/s class.

Sometimes the classes that are suppose to be the easiest end up being the hardest because the teacher might have a stick up his ass for students thinking the class would be easy. I remember reading 200 pages a week of nonsense material where the author had such a strong favortism towards african americans and such a disdain for whites. Reading hundreds upon hundreds of pages of biased literature on systemic racism and how everything no matter how small can be blamed on the white guy was just a complete turn off.

Basically, I blamed the white guy as much as I could in my papers as I knew that is what my teacher wanted to hear otherwise I was fighting a losing battle. I couldn't share how I really felt and say hey wait a second, is everything that ever happened to be blamed on the white man.

cliff notes:

-Becareful of taking b/s classes that you *think* will be super easy as sometimes they end up being the most time consuming

-OP is bored and wanted to share his story on his least favorite college class
