Go to her. Not only does it make her feel more comfortable, but that also gets you off the hook regarding some of the planning duties. She should know some cool places around her area.

As the guy, maybe there is some expectation that you go to her. But there are a million other culturally prescribed behaviors for men and women that are stupid as well.

I have a very small sample size of 1 for each. The time I went to her town sucked - she led me around, I followed. It felt like she was the man and I was the girl. Another girl I met and brought to a party with my friends and then my place. I led her around like a puppy and she ate it up. Going to her area sets up a bad frame, having her come to your home turf is much to your advantage, imo.

Your best bet is to PM makin maneys, the resident pof expert. See what he says.

I was planning on doing some rough research to see what restaurants/acivities are there so I could suggest something and she could go "oh wow, how did you know? you're so awesome aao".

Surely it could work in my favour as she'd have some kind of pressure to please me?

I have no experience online dating, but I strongly agree with GCG. Take the opportunity to take charge and show her a good time. You get to demonstrate how fun being part of your world is, plus you can close much easier when you can invite her to her place instead of the other way around. I don't think this is a close decision at all.

Being a man and taking charge as opposed to a waffling "well where do you want to go?" type of guy is what the majority of women want. Of course you should not go overboard, and by listening to her likes and dislikes you can make better decisions when you decide what to do.

What's the optimal number of wingmen for your 21st birthday party?

Not sure how beneficial it'd be to bring a lady [of interest] on such occasion. Multiple girls seems out of the question, but I could be wrong.

Oh, and your place far outweighs hers imo also.

Only downside is she'll know where you live when she's crazy.

Acting totally uninterested and unneedy works so well.. I'm getting fairly serious now with a Swedish girl that lives in the same corridor as me, and have been ignoring, avoiding and sometimes just walking away from other girls that are interested (at parties). A girl that I kind of obsessed over a few weeks ago, who was uninterested then, now is clearly interested. Another girl I know, I saw 4 times at parties where I walked away each time after a few minutes or less of small talk, sent me a message on facebook.. if I want to meet up to take her mind off studying... Heh.

Really enjoying my time with the Swedish girl though.
