Re: SL "ask a bunch of guys on the internet about mackin da fly honeyz" thread
GCG: I've only been on ~5 dates from POF the whole time I've been on it, I imagine the key though is that typically the dates you go on are already going to have a high chance of succeeding since you've established a pretty strong filter through your communications up to that point.

Re: SL "ask a bunch of guys on the internet about mackin da fly honeyz" thread
i was going out with this girl for 2 times, then something stupid happened. that was about a month ago, we didn't talk much and I tried to keep the distance because the situation was too awkward. at one point she told me she didn't want to hang out outside of work. however, when we hung out, we kissed, but it seemed she wasn't ready yet. fast forward to july. we start to talk again, but I only see her at my job, so during breaks we try to hang out. I've been sexual from the beginning, telling her how I feel and being direct and honest. yesterday we had a good conversation. we look each other in the eyes and keep eye contact. she always becomes nervous when we flirt, and says that Im funny and an ******* at times (when im messing with her).
what do you guys think?? should I ask her out?

Re: SL "ask a bunch of guys on the internet about mackin da fly honeyz" thread
i probably wouldn't, she did already tell you she didn't wanna hang out. that's not the sort of girl i'd wanna pursue.
there's this real douche bag in my group of friends, nobody really likes him but he is tolerated. annoying, unintelligent, loud, arrogant, rude, selfish, and dirty. his presence really bugs the **** out of me and it's pretty obvious that nobody really likes him, but they feel bad telling him to **** off. he reminds me of cartman. so last night at this party we went to, he had this stupid idea and of course it took off and he had a crowd of like 5 girls around him. then he just told all his retarded lowest common denominator jokes and the girls thought it was hilarious. it was like a south park episode, all i could do was laugh. i think it's so absurd and frustrating that girls like guys like this.

Re: SL "ask a bunch of guys on the internet about mackin da fly honeyz" thread
I still don't know if she was serious or not (with not wanting to hang out)because our second date wasn't supposed to happen, but I made it happen and afterwards she was all over me (texting etc.)

Grunch. It probably didnt matter what the idea was at all, he probably just appeared confident and appeared sociable which kept the group of girls around him.

Re: SL "ask a bunch of guys on the internet about mackin da fly honeyz" thread
If you have at least like 50 posts ITT try and suggest a new title. If you don't have anything good, don't share it. So don't make it ****ty like.
We'll narrow it down to a few finalists by debate and then vote for the new title.
it's either that or i just unilaterally pick something i believe is funny haha

Agreed. Being Confident/Cocky and sociable at parties will keep the ladies interested.

when im out at a social function, especially one where i know many of the people, i generally just naturally make myself the center (or one of the centers if it's a larger event) of attention. im an admitted attention whore, but i feel like i entertain pretty well most of the time and am pretty funny... so people dont mind it so much. i also know when to turn it off if it's a) an inappropriate situation (e.g., a party for someone specifically lol) or b) im not clicking well with people that night. im also good at being egotistical while being self-deprecating at the same time... hard to explain, but very effective.
this absolutely helps when it comes to talking to girls. everyone wants to talk to you because you're "one of the guys" there at the party that everyone knows and is talking to. social value theorem and all that ****.
just need to be careful that you dont turn into a clown.... unless you want to for that event. it can be fun.

Right on IMO.
You are show casing that you know how to have fun and that you can contribute to the party, instead of hanging back in the corner.
As long as you don't drink too much I doubt you'll turn into a clown, leave that for the freshman girls lol
