the minute you ask that question she'll know whats up. esp since you haven't seen her since the 2nd grade. i generally downplay serious questions. some answer involving "fun" or "lol?" is standard.

i try to invite girls somewhere where there will be alcohol usually. if you're not 21 then a lunch date is fine i guess.

I agree with Karak. There's no problem with matter-of-factly stating your opinion without bothering to coddle the opposing opinion.

He can be annoying sometimes, but I rarely have a problem with his tone.

Walking through school today, not really paying attention. I see someone coming at me from an odd angle going "HEY! HEY! HEY!" then runs up and pokes me in the ribs and goes "HOW ARE YOU DOING!?" B, of course.

I get to class about 45 minutes later. Someone comes at me quickly, again, from a weird angle and, again, pokes me in the ribs and invites me to go to the gym with her tomorrow. A, of course.

and my ribs aren't too inviting. i lost a ton of weight and don't look fat anymore, but i still have a bit of a soft underbelly.

You don't have to be thin to have inviting ribs.

Apologies if you interpreted it as me implying you were a cynical dick. Like you pointed out yourself, you wouldn't directly come between A and her boyfriend so there would be no logic in me labelling you as that. However, I would disagree with the actions of someone who did try and force themselves upon A in that light, knowing the situation.

Anyway, you summed it up in a latter post - "its the law student in me". Snap.
