YES. I've regretted not going to McGill, every day, for the last 3 years.

Seriously, to all 1st and 2nd year UW students: understand that things won't ever improve for you here. Switching into arts isn't the correct response. Neither is Laurier. Transfer to McGill ASAP.

I can't believe I chose F-ing UW over McGill. ****.

-4th year @ UW, does not play poker.

Re: Any Laurier/Waterloo poker players?

I know a game near the university of waterloo and Laurier, they play mostly 25/50 cent cash games and $10/$20 tourneys. There is a lot of retarded fish there and I have made a decent amount of cash because of them. Its mostly university kids that come and think they are good at poker because they watch it on TV. They usually have a lot of money from parents who keep sending it to them thinking they need the extra cash.

The game DOES NOT collect any rake
The game DOES NOT collect any tips

Hey,

UW student here, looking for a good home game. Cash or tournament, doesn't really matter.

Feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you're interested, and hopefully we can get something going.

1/2 might be a bit high for lots of university kids.

Yea true, it's $100 max buy-in fwiw and the play is terrible. But yea, if losing a couple hundred in a night will hurt you a fair bit then prolly shouldn't play it... the tourn is possibly slightly more reasonable variance wise. I think last one 49 people entered, 6 were paid, ~700 for 1st. Structure is decent as far as random tourneys go, field is obv weak. Just throwing it out there though, as I know of nothing else.

I'd probably be down for some decent home games/tourneys if people know of anything around.

Do any of you guys play online? If so, what games? I'm interested in linking up w/ some other online players in the area if we're playing similar stuff...
