So my last 2 threads on this forum didn't really take off due to lack of effort on my part, as well as a poker upswing that turned me into a full time degen. Now I'm back to reality and I hope this one will be better (3rd time's the charm they say).

I will try to document on a daily basis the struggles and tribulations I have to go through in my early 20s and make something of myself.

I'm currently a part time student and this thread will hopefully help to get motivated and keep myself accountable to reach my goals.

I don't have any explicit goals like gym goals (get to xxx kg, BMI etc), but I wanna start somewhere first and here's where it will be. This include health goals, dieting and getting back into shape etc, as well as trying to find ways to fund my life going overseas (not just from poker).

Not the best start to my thread. Haven't really worked on my gym goals and study goals.

Have a test in 9 hrs but I really ceebz studying it so I might just pull a sickie.

I spent the weekend getting wasted both days and feel absolutely fk-ed. Couldn't study last two days becuz all I think about is fkn poker hands.

I was a part-time student too. I had a special schedule on my fridge not to forget about studying. Motivation? I buy myself presents when |I complete any task. For example, got Goof for the essay - bought new shoes it works for me)

I'll be taking part in this thread as well if u dont mind

Thing is priorities, mentality (not procrastinating), and balance is pretty much key.

My life has been so UNHEALTHY ever since i started grinding live poker. If you strictly play online you have much more time to "balance" out ur life by all means.

My priorities atm are to...
-buy a dslr camera and start shooting pics of cars and shooting pics of live poker events (bought a lens + dslr for 850 check, next part is getting off my ass and going places over the summer lol the camera is just collecting dust atm)
-buy a daily driver unmolested 240 s13 hatch and work on it (i have the money just i want to get 25-30k grand first so i don't decimate my roll)

Some nooby lifting advice.

Lifting isn't for everyone if your just going to the gym to try to get ripped/fit to get girls don't go lol that's a horrible reason. Don't do that crossfit crap either it's aids.

Like poker there is a strategy to lifting once you plateau at a certain point u'll understand.

Just set your goal to bench x amount, backsquat x amount, deadlift x amount and then achieve it slowly (Make sure ur form is immaculate go on youtube/google that sht and watch pro lifters from china/3rd world country or whatever do that sht and take what u can get from it or find someone who knows what they r doing in the gym or bodybuilding forums) ... don't waste ur time on other random lifts AT FIRST.

I can't help u with studying part, it's basically mind over matter for bull sht u aren't passionate about. I know man it sucks studying/researching stuff u really find no interest in.

So haven't been back on this thread for so long. Poker really killed me for a while and went on 10k swings like nothing.

I feel somewhat done with the grind and want to get my life together.
