Any reason why this event isn't even mentioned on the Hard Rock's web site?

Seems strange that it isn't these, especially with all the print ads I've seen recently.

IN Re: Events #1 and #15, players are allowwed to re-enter on day 1B if they bust out on Day 1A.

Do they have to go bust or can they forfeit a short stack and start over on the second day?

No, you are not allowed to reenter if you are still in from Day 1A. I also think this would be a bad play on their part.

Stud High? I could not even reach a 50K guarantee at Commerce and there are 5-10 stud games there daily.

I don't understand changing the format so close to the end. I'd say keep it the same throughout. If you want it to be 6 handed, make it that way from the beginning. Just my two cents.

Funny thing is, I called the Hard Rock to find out the rates for Aug 13-16 so that I could play event #1 and it ended up costing more for the weekend with the code than without.

The reservation desk quoted me $350 with the code and $325 with out the code, stating that there was some promotional discount, but unfortunately the promotional discount and the code discount cannot be combined. Total BS if you ask me. What a jip...I rather just pay cheap and stay at stratosphere and just take a cab.

Sorry to see that the 8-game is now a 7-game and deuce-to-seven triple draw is gone. If you want to delete a lowball game why not razz? Deuce-to-seven is much more of a challenge because the straights/flushes count against you. And for an all-around mix there should be at least one draw game.
