Anyone know if the new poker room will be open by this event? Or will they be using the temporary set up like in past years?

They posted in another thread that the new poker room will be open and host cash play, and that they will continue to have use of the old room through the summer and will host the tourneys there. So that's a nicer place to play than in the temporary space over on the Encore casino floor. This article says the new room is opening on May 26.

As I said in the thread for Spacey's schedule, you kind of know what you're going to get with the Wynn schedule, mainly NLH tournaments. I also agree with the sentiment others expressed there that the Wynn generally fills a market need with a good price point. I like the regular $400 tournaments. It looks like they bumped things up a bit overall this year, since there aren't any $300 tourneys on the schedule and I know they had several last year. But there are some good guarantees here, and they usually have a good structure. I also like the $400 PLO tourney on Sunday the weekend of the WSOP's $565 PLO bracelet event (WSOP starts that Thursday).

Yep. Wynn's schedule isn't super exciting, but it fills gaps for me and the Plo is nice.

All correct. Cash games will open in the new poker room the evening of May 26, and we will use the existing poker room for the Wynn Summer Classic.

We really put a lot of thought into the positioning of the multi-days and how they would fit into everyone's schedule. I hope those are the gaps that filled your schedule, that was the goal.

The $400 50k GTD's really give us a chance to add value for the players over last year's $300 25k's. The structure and chips will be the same as last year's daily's, the exception being the $550 100k GTD's will have a larger starting stack.

Thanks for the feedback and support, hope to see everyone this summer.

Are the structures posted anywhere?

They will be updated on the website by next weekend. If you have a specific event question I would be happy to answer it here if I can.

Looking forward to playing a few events here in addition to the rest of my schedule. Think the events have been thoughtfully positioned. Always enjoy playing at the Wynn poker room (and it's errrr good views of other passing patrons) and have ran well in the past! Bring it on!

Thanks. Planning on playing in the Seniors so I was interested in that structure specifically. I can wait.

I don't know... With the old temp space at Encore, you often got quite a show for your buy-in with the folks coming and going from Surrender.

Good to hear, see you then Gogie. Don't forget the Seniors event starts at 11 AM on 6/13 and will finish the following day. It will feature a 15k starting stack and 40 minute levels. It will also pay 15% of the field, so the "money" will be reached on day 1.

I guess you'll just have to play cash since the new room will be located adjacent to the entrance of the Encore Beach Club. I think we've upgraded

Poker rep; you obviously thought about the placement of the multi-day starts but if you are a senior it sucks. Also, why is the main so late this year?

Sorry to hear that. We tried to give Seniors who come to LV for other Senior events the best chance to play in multiple events over the course of the week. June 13 gives those 50+ a chance to play a Seniors Event all week.

We moved the Championship back to the similar dates we ran in 2014 which had a good turnout. Last year, we were forced to go earlier due to restrictions on our tournament area.

Interesting. Will it be the payout policy this year, 15% ITM?

It sucks for me because I love the Wynn events but one of the best they have is the $1100 multi-day and it conflicts with the WSOP Seniors. The main now conflicts with the WSOP main. So the two best may not work for me.

By the way, I will definitely be playing in your seniors event. Sorry to imply differently.

Glad to hear you like the events, thanks for your support.

We put the $1100 in that spot because no one else was offering a multi day or that price point during that entire week, and lots of people will get shut out because of all the Seniors events.

I see now, you're concerned that Day 3 of the WSOP Seniors is on Day 2 of our $1100. Sorry, we try to take Day 2's into account for popular events so as not to interfere, but if we went around Day 2's and Day 3's we would be completely handcuffed!

I love your confidence! I feel like if you make it to Day 6 of the WSOP Main, which happens to conflict with our Championship, you'll have more important things on your mind.

We feel like giving more players the opportunity to cash is better for the overall poker community, so we thought we would give it a try.

We will be paying approx. 15% for the Daily Events, as well as the Seniors. The multi-flight events will still pay approx. 10-11.5% of the field.

In this regard, we look forward to hearing player feedback after both our events and the WSOP.

Great structure and 15% ITM on Day 1 for the $528.65+$71.35 Seniors Event. When is late registration as my flight will arrive after the 11 am start, and I'll be running over Gogie to get to Wynn on time.

Hi Nash. Plenty of time to make it to Wynn. Registration for the Seniors will close at the beginning of level 7, which is approximately 3:30 pm.

Safe travels, see you this summer.

A change fee is a small price to pay for your share of $750k!

Kidding aside, our apologies we were a bit late. There was a question as to whether or not we would have both the old and new poker rooms available for the summer.
