Where do people stay at this venue and what is a good room rate?
The hotel at the casino has an average price per night around $200. There are plenty of hotels within 15 mins of the casino at the sub $75/night(Oak Creek or Brookfield areas).
Many hotel options are available within a 10-20 min drive of Poto. I live a little over an hour away from Poto, but the last few MSPT's I've played there I have spent the night in downtown Milwaukee. The only downfall of downtown is that you have to pay for parking whereas if you stay in an outlying area hotel you probably won't have to. This time I'm opting for the Hampton Inn in Franklin if I am not comped a room at Poto on one or two of the nights.
The rooms at Poto are very nice as the hotel is practically brand new. A few restaurants, a coffee shop food court and buffet are all on site as well.
I can try and answer some questions to the best of my ability in regards to Poto and Milwaukee.

I lived in the Milwaukee area years ago and went to Potawatomi a number of times. It was a real hole in the ground back then. Would be curious to get player' impressions of the new property. I can't imagine the old place holding an event like this, so it must have been significantly upgraded.
I called and spoke with the poker room last month, they told me there is a chance this circuit stop gets cancelled if they don't get Bravo installed in time. Does anyone know if it's in / operational yet? Would like to check this place out and hit the WSOPC event.
Will they have more than 20 tables for cash games?

I would think they would. My guess is the tournaments will take place in the ball rooms and with he poker room reserves for cash. I don't remember the exact number of tables they have in the poker room itself. I'm headed there Friday to register for a couple events and I'll take a count.

According to Bravo, only a 20 table room that is why I was wondering if more cash tables will be set up for this event? Can't imagine 20 being nearly enough on the weekend during this event...

Ah, I see what you're asking now. I'll try and check with someone on Friday and post an update.
