This also happened in Event 1. 1B in my case. At the end of the day, floor tossed out slips (the kind that has a couple pages behind that copy what is written on the first page) with seat numbers for the following day and asked the players to fill in our chip counts. The floor also counted the chips to verify the amount and then separated the slip and kept a copy or two and gave the pink slip to the player. Thought it was rather odd, never run across that scenario before.
Didn't hear of any complaints about chip discrepancies but there were a at least a handful of folks who were assigned the same seat for Day 2. I was assigned the same seat as someone from Day 1A, and the floor made an annoucement to see them if that was the case. Otherwise, thought things were well run in the two events I played and noticed that dealers were much more lenient in terms of giving penalties for exposing cards or folding out of turn.
