I'm not 100% sure..... but i just sent my domestic wire today for 13 events and its the same info on the wire instructions for all 13 event's (Wire Instructions Not Event Specific) Plus, the special instructions box in the wire, references: Players Name, "To WSOP Cage" , and the total in US Dollars, no mention of events or grand total.
After they verify your identity in person, you can use the monies for any tournament buy ins, but (I don't think) you will be able to take cash out of the cage and use as cash in hand.
I'm doing a combination of all three, Pre reg C/C, Wire for multiple events and cash.
Not sure how you get the money back from the cage that you don't use, but i need to tweet WSOP.

Very happy to pay the fee rather than traveling with a lot of cash. I'd also be charged a lot more for the USD if I were to get it from outside the country. It think it's a great option for non-US players.
True. There I go thinking only domestically.

How do you guys go about doing a wired buy-in instead of a debit card? Trying to do one for the Milly Maker, but the option to register on Bravo for flight A is gone (It's the only one missing for me ofc lol). There is no way Flight A sold out right?

Might be too late. IIRC they cut off wire-in pre-reg a couple three weeks before the event.

I sent a wire transfer from BOA (same bank as Caesars) for two events on 5-21 and was told I will receive an e-mail confirmation when the accounting dept. receives my paper work.
Still waiting.

Just opened this thread to basically post the same thing.

I wired $10k for the Main Event on Friday May 20. I sort of expected an email confirmation by now. Anyone know how long it takes for this or who I should email to enquire about it?

I made my initial reservation on 5th May, and have not received confirmation. I finally managed to get talking to a person (not a recording) yesterday, and I discovered that I was short by $31 because of charges taken by an intermediate bank. I am trying to find out the easiest way to pay the shortfall.

I don't know if they would have ever contacted me if I had not phoned.

I think you know the answer.

So many of these problems could be solved if they allowed third-party registration. They already have age verification when you showed ID to get the Total Rewards card.

That's a pain.....happened to me the last 2 times I did it in previous years. Last time I was $9 short and had to wire something like $9 plus another $25 in fees. This time I wired $10070 just to be sure. I think you can get the change from the cage but I'm not 100% sure.

Took me less than two days to get the confirmation mail
I was charged $584.67 and $1032.50 for $565 and $1000 buyins.

To bad we have to pay the extra fee for every tournament and on top of that Ill guess my Norwegian bank would charge me a % or two for the currency, but still is a smooth way for me. So far, go good

Quick question regarding ID...in reading through the fine print, there is discussion about needing to have something to show residential address if the ID does not have it. However, that language followed the discussion about foreign ID.

I am one of those rare US peeps where my TxDL shows a PO Box (which is also the billing address for my cards). Should I be expecting to need to have a utility statement or two for one of the houses? Or is this something they are only holding the foreign players to?

The paragraph in question was actually Rule 9 of the official WSOP Rules (on page 2 of 22).

Pretty sure they've said that every year and you only really need your passport. I kind of remember worrying about it when i played last time but I'm pretty sure I just showed my passport

I have (had) the same problem in that there is no U.S. postal delivery to street addresses in my locality -- and I was unable to receive my winnings until I could track down a piece of paper with a street address on it.

Trust me, they are quite serious about this. And Total Rewards already had my street address on file, or so I thought. Supposedly the IRS demands this even for small cashes.

Yes, you will need an electric bill or other document listing your street address, or else you will get bubkes.

Yes, encountered this today. My license show my old address, and had I cashed bigger I would've needed a utility bill, etc. Which sucks for me as well because I don't take mail at my house, I have a PO box. I don't even check my home mailbox unless I happen to think of it, which means every other month.

Amazing bad luck using the Bravo Site for anything so far.
I pre registered and paid for 14 events total.
Get to the Rio on May 30th just to get my ID and credit card verified only to find out the Rio main cage is clueless and had to wait until the fast track counter opened the next day.
After busting my first Colossus flight A, and trying to use Bravo Live to purchase flight B the site kept giving me an error message, so i just waited in line to purchase my ticket.
Then i tried to cancel Event #4 Top Up NL today and Bravo Live says to contact the casino??
Amazing that Bravo charges a service fee for the convenience of using the kiosk and so far its been a complete waste of time. I can't be to upset, because if i wait in line and pay with cash there is no service fee.
Bravo Live is the nut LOW and has put me on life tilt!

How long is it taking to get the email with the FasTrak instructions? I registered for an event on Friday evening but still haven't seen the promised email. The event does show in my 'tournaments' section on the BPL page. Just wasn't sure if the claimed 72 hours was a true 72 hours or if they are actually meaning three business days...

To follow on my own question...finally got the email early this afternoon.

My concern was getting out to LAS and then having to scramble to get cash out of ATM's (my bank has no branches out there) had something gone awry with the card.

Registered June 2 (Thurs), received registration confirmation email on June 7 (Tues).

Much less hassle than wiring $$ in year's past. Last year it took a few weeks to get confirmation of wire transfer and I had to call the Rio to get the ball rolling on the confirmation.
