Once the participant completes the online process (including sending in payment) for one or more events, they then only have to show up in the Rio Convention Center “Rotunda Area” Fast Track Total Rewards Desk one hour prior to their event’s start, to show proof of identification and have their identity verified. If the method of payment is credit card, the participant must also present the credit card used for the online registration. Once verified, the participant will receive seat assignments and receipts for any and all event(s) this participant has registered for and can proceed to their starting room, table and seat at the participant’s leisure.

http://www.wsop.com/registration/default.aspx

After completing the “one-time in-person” verification process in the Rotunda Area to confirm identity and payment method, players can simply use the WSOP Fast Track Kiosks to print their own seat cards and receipts for all future 2016 WSOP online registrations.

I registered Saturday morning for Colossus Flight E using Bravo with no issues. Had to enter a leading "00" to my TR # when signing up with Bravo.

You should get an email that includes a diagram. Fast Trac will be in the rotunda (on the right if entering from casino)

Wait, did you guys also read the fees they have for CC registration? Or is it just me. I got a $19 fee for registering the Collosus $565. That's insane. Cancels any reward I might get with a CC.

I got my confirmation email today and everything seems to have gone through. Like others have said it includes a pdf explaining where you go to confirm your card the first time.

If you don't get the email, I seriously doubt that you need it. Here is the text of the PDF:

"2016 WSOP Online Registration/WSOP FasTrac Map

For participants that registered online in advance, please proceed to this area to get verified and
receive seat cards and receipts at least one hour prior to event start time. Online-registered
participants must present current valid and unexpired photo identification (passport, driver’s
license, state identification card, or military identification card) acceptable to Rio in person at the
Tournament verification area to complete first time online-registrations.

If online method of payment was credit card, card used must be presented at time of verification.

Once participant has completed the verification process, participant can bypass the above process for future
online registrations and can proceed to any WSOP FasTrac kiosk to print your seat cards and receipts. "

There is also a map of the rotunda that shows that FasTrac is on the right-hand side of the rotunda as you enter directly across from the WSOP merchandise area.

That is all.

It was discussed earlier ITT. It is also on the WSOP website online registration announcement page, under Fees: 2.95% +$3.00. So this really shouldn't come as a shock to anyone.

They never emailed me back directly, but today I got the standard email confirming payment was received. Is the same email I also got on an event I paid for via wire transfer.

And it's really pretty reasonable. How else could the WSOP provide this option? Those fees are actual third-party costs of processing the payment. If WSOP didn't charge them it would come out of the prize pool, meaning the players who buyin in cash would be effectively subsidizing the credit card users. If you want to avoid the fee, pay in cash. Fairly simple.

Depends on the card obviously, but aside from the extra points that go with the fee, there is also the time value of money. While I am not entering, I have read enough about the lines to know that the extra $19 is well worth not standing in line.

Bingo. Colossus was a zoo last year, should be a zoo again this year. I can't really see any other events being worth forking over the fee because you'll have plenty of time to register in person when it's not crazy, but for Colossus you don't have as much leeway.

Still no final confirmation email. The WSOP page says registration takes at least 72 hours for first time use. Called the WSOP today, and was told it takes 7 to 10 working days for final confirmation due to 'accounting process'. Will follow up in a few days time.
Finally got my confirmation email. Around 10 working days between payment and getting it.

GL to everyone playing!

Totally agree. Colossus is really the only event that warrants pre-registration online unless one's only option is to arrive day-of for other events.

FWIW, the fees for international wire transfer on a $1500 event are only $3. Think it's around $40 with a credit card.

Very happy to pay the fee rather than traveling with a lot of cash. I'd also be charged a lot more for the USD if I were to get it from outside the country. It think it's a great option for non-US players.

My only word of warning: do not mess up the account information. I did that and TorFX (or some intermediaries) completely screwed me out of a lot of money as a result. Check and triple check.

Just registered for the millionaire maker (coming in late the night before so didn't want to risk it) and it was super easy, took probably about 10 minutes tops. The 2.9% fee will almost be offset by the 2% cash back on my credit card, so the fee for me was very minimal. Would definitely recommend it for the convenience.

Is it possible to just wire money to the cage and pick it up there or do you have to register for specific events?
