I dont think anyone knows for sure, but based on the published rates for other tournaments, you should get a little less than $2.

Caesars properties usually charge you $2 comps:$1 entry fee. I assume that it will be the same at WSOP.

They come out way head by switching to this instead of $10 vouchers.

This is good to know. Time to stock up on 20-30 of these and have an insane dinner at voodoo steak or something. Question though - will they now also be swiping TR cards for cash games, maybe at the podium - $1hr/34rc at 2/5?

Yeah, but let's be honest, the food in the poker kitchen last year was so over priced that they made out just fine. You couldn't eat there for "just" your $10 voucher. I just kicked mine in for breakfast at Starbuck's in the morning.

But now it will still be overpriced but you are getting $1.90 instead of $10 to help pay for it

I was told that the $10 food credit came out of the buy in and wasn't an added extra. If thats true I'm so happy they are getting rid of it. The food sucks

This was not stated on any info sheet and anything taken from the prize pool has to be indicated.

Pretty doubtful they will be swiping tr cards in wsop room for cash games; they never have/ prob never will. In the 'regular'/old poker room they always swipe your cards for tr points/comps but I'm not sure if they discontinue this for the wsop.

If you really want to take the 30 minute walk over to the regular Rio poker room, they do swipe over there. They claim it's too hard in the wsop room.

Re: WSOP now awarding TR points for tourney buy-ins

appreciate this, so definitely less money for 1k, 1.5ks than previously.

If someone can update with tier credits I'd be interested to see that.
