If you like deepstack play, looks like an easy choice: same buy-in, but better structure with the "Monster"!

They are both relatively soft with the fly-in weekend warrior crowd (not excluding myself from that characterization mind you), Monster you have twice as many chips to start, so I prefer Monster.

Here is last years bubble info.
MM: 1172 started day 2, paying 1079, it took a little less than 1 hour to bust the bubble.
MS: 2001 returned for day 2, paying 1040, took about 5 hours to reach the bubble.

Payouts for both were very similar, except for the 1mil. guarantee for 2nd in MM (not this year), both tournaments ended in level 39. Ideal or not, day 2 on Monday is not changing this year, and both will be 4 day tournaments, actually 5 with 2 day 1s, so they will not end until Wednesday.

Monster is definately the deeper structure, but I think its actually a little too deep early on. Slogging through a day and a half before the money is a little too much for this type of event. IMO, day 1 40-45 min levels would make this a better tourney.
