Looking forward to this stop some great cash game action comes into Cherokee.

I have one question - the $365 PLO Event only allows 1 Re-Entry. Does anyone know how deep a Re-Entry is allowed in the tourney?

Can someone explain the event 2 format to me? 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d and it is listed as a three day event. So are 2a, 2b, and 2c starting flights, and 2d the finals? Seems an odd way to document it.

Looks like there are 100 players freerolling in and WSOP is putting $1 million to the prizepool. I see WSOP is giving away 1 additional seat to the winner of event 2. Does anyone know if they will be adding $10k to the prizepool of the Global Championship for this seat or are they just giving away a seat at the expense of everyone's equity?

Also does anyone know of where I can find an official count of how many are free-rolling in? I see next year they are planning on giving away at least 122 seat according to the press release so the seats are going to be worth far less than $10k. Trying to figure out if its worth buying in for $10k or not this year.

I believe the number is 100 this year but just want to make sure before I book a trip out there.

This year there are 100 freeroll seats with the 100th being the event 2 winner. You can buy in for $10k if you won a ring in this season or you are in the top 100 WSOP. The entire 10k goes to prize pool with 0 rake.

The press release for the 16-17 season is a little confusing, but I still think each freeroll seat is worth $10k.

there are 4 Day 1's for Event#2 A,B,C,D. you can enter any and all of them.

Typically plays down to final table on Day 2 (Sunday)

then down to winner on Monday.

If you read 2+2 please don't come. I want our Cherokee fields to remain as they are.

Theoretically speaking...no. Shortstacks can, in theory, continue to win all-ins perpetually. Even if the entire table is all-in from the blinds and antes alone, there can be indefinite chops.

Mid tournament strategy: do the opposite of what your table is doing (i.e. play right if they're loose or loose if they're tight) --> win chips. Easy peazy

Yes, the casino is pretty busy around this time of year, but doesn't explain why I went from 4 nights comped to 1. Pushing the middle class man out of Cherokee would be horrid. Can only hope Hard Rock opens in Kings Mountain, then Cherokee would only get my business during WSOPc

There's still plenty of hotels in the area for 110/night or just go to Sylva for 90/night. Hotels.com is probably the best bet.

What is your complaint? This is standard for almost all circuit stops and makes perfect sense. Day 2 of event 2 starts at noon and will be almost in the money. A large number of people will bust out and looking for something to play. Great to schedule an event starting at 3. For anybody there just for 3 days, this is a great schedule.
