Glad y'all made it out safe...that city chews people up and spits them out w/out a second thought. Hell, I only live a little over 1/2 hour away and only go to Beal St. on bike nights a couple times a year... Except when friends or relatives come and want to go on safari.

I won't go unless I'm carrying and then I also carry a backup. Lots of dangerous critters there.

Im headed that way in morning and will be there until SUnday. Mostly cash games. WHats the latest on Harrahs comping Buffets? Am I going to have to go to Strike or Shoe everyday just to not have to pay $30 to eat?

Re: WSOP Circuit: Tunica. MS FEB 2012

during the circuit theyll give 10 dollar food vouchers usable everywhere, that would make the dinner buffet cost 10 or so. slightly more on weekends

outside the circuit theyve given full comps but they have a 10 buck limit during it. every little bit helps i guess

besides the buffet and the 37 steakhouse, the voucher will pretty much pay off every other place though

Re: WSOP Circuit: Tunica. MS FEB 2012

The bar at the end of the hall past the buffet has a WSOP bar grub buffet for $10. Use your $10 comp there for a free meal. They have hot dogs, sliders, wings, nachos, sodas and desserts. This past weekend, there was almost no line the 3 times I went there. I was able to get in and out of there easily during dinner breaks and get my head back on straight before going back into the tournament.

and that bathroom back there is the cleanest in the whole casino, in case you need a time-out to "take care of biz'nz", if you know what I mean.

Yeah I hit it up last weekend when I was there, it's in the old Toby Keith's Bar and grill.

Is there a way to pre register for the Heads Up Event on Thursday? I will be driving there tomorrow morning and am worried the seats will be sold before I am there.

No way to preregister but I don't see it selling out.

The $10 buffet was pretty good and quiet. The tourneys I played were good, just wished I had some better luck but getting to the restart in event #2 was nice.

Re: WSOP Circuit: Tunica. MS FEB 2012

I made Day 2 of Wed's $350 - yay me. Unfortunately I like 24/25 going into the re-start. Time to win a few races (like AA vs. QQ aipf!)
