Attending this for the first time in several years and didn't see a post about it so I figured I'd start a new topic.

I'm going the last weekend, Friday-Monday, and was curious what the satellite action is likely to be that Friday...lots of single tables and a mega or two? I'm looking to win my seat into Day 1B on Saturday. Also, do they still run a nightly tourney during the WSOPC?

Here is the full schedule from the wsop site. They do plenty of sng's and they do $135 nightly's every night. Room rates are reasonable sun-Thurs, but very expensive on Fri-Sat.

Yeah, wasn't big on paying nearly $300 a night so I got one down the street for less than 20 percent of that price.

Did I miss it or is there no guarantees on any of the tourneys?

4 whole post for Tunica Circuit event.... man times have changed.

I know Tunica has been drying up, but is 2+2 a ghost town too?

Why did they overlap with Choctaw stop?

I get there Wed night. Should be a decent field for the reentry and then good fields once Choctaw ends. PM me if you want to meet for drinks/breakfast some time.

My dad and I are coming down from North Carolina to stay Saturday to Friday. Might stay for the main if we run good. Wish we could've gone to Choctaw too, but my dad can't handle that much travel. GL to everyone going. I am really looking forward to it.

Here's the full daily schedule, including mega satellites and nightly tournaments:

I assume STSs will also be run on demand around the clock.

I'm glad there including a Main Seat with all the nightly's. That $35 rake isn't to enticing, but the seat will motivate me to participate when I'm busto.

Tunica was the site of my first circuit event, also 3 of 4 of my cashes with 2 finial tables. I'm always excited this time of year as this stop falls on my birthday.

I'll get there mid-day Wednesday and am going to do a late reg into the Monster Stack, wide open after that.

Run good 2 + 2

where's the best Tunica hotel for Friday/Saturday night if you don't want the high rates of Horseshoe or Gold Strike?

Best Western, a couple of miles away from Horseshoe, has good, clean rooms. I think it's probably the closest, best non-casino hotel.

I'm staying at Best America Value Inn down the road for about $55 a night on Friday-Saturday the last weekend of the event.

Any idea how many runners they may get for main? And what is the best way to get to casino if flying from DFW?

Thanks.

MidSouth Casino Shuttle or Blues City Tours charge $65 round trip from airport. The ring events have been averaging 200-300 players your guess is as good as mine on the main. They don't have sattys that generate many seats into the main like Choctaw. Ball park guess 350-450.
