Comparing the first 9 levels from last year's ME, it actually is a worse structure since it skips a level. (250/500/50). Just does not seem like that great of a structure for a $1600.
Pretty disappointed.

I too am disappointed as I don't see how they can go from playing 16 levels the first day down to 6 and manage to get to the final table end of day 2 unless they cut more levels, starting chips, level time (not increasing to 60-75 minutes) or all of these. Jimmy give us an answer just how bad did the structure get inorder for wsopc to make it a reentry for the purpose of increasing the rake. Please tell me I am wrong and the structure was not butchered. And since they changed the main event what are other events structures going to be changed to?

Also, don't nec agree with your extra rake theory... Come back as a new player also adds money to prize pool . So the % of rake to prize pool is the same. I would personally prefer the re-entry as it would increase my prize pool. Your thinking tells me that you would like to have a 15 player tnmt because the house would make less?

Pretty pumped as this will be my first live tournament experience. Only about an hour and a half drive too. Anyone have a guess on how many people the nightly 100+20$'s will get? Maybe from experience of previous circuit stops?

Jimmy in 2 day events can you play both 1A and 1B and then use your highest chip count when the days merge?

Re: Sep 8-19, 2011 Horseshoe Bossier City (Louisiana)
I know this is going to be a smaller event than some of the circuit events, but I'm curious what kind of turn out could be expected for the $200-$300 Omaha events that will be on Monday-Wednesday?

Northeast. From a small town called Hughes Springs. It's about 35 miles north of Longview.

Jimmy you are gonna have to wait awhile on beating me doctor today said no poker tourneys for a few days. Sitting that long could cause blood clots. Will probably drop by to say hi to everyone though.
