Have any of you guys played in any of the satellites? I'm playing in tomorrow's noon flight regardless, but debating over whether I should show up early and try to satellite in. Starts with 60 BBs and just 10 minute levels. Top 16% get a seat. I don't know if they'll be enough guys playing sub-optimal hyper-turbo strategy to be worth it or not...

I played the 10PM mega last night for fun. It's super turbo, but play is truly laughable. One guy got up to leave after losing an all-in where he had the other guy covered by 2500 or so chips at 50/100. There will be lots of people doing things like limp-folding with 8BB, and 3x-folding with 10BB, as well as folding things like K9o to your 4BB jam from the SB. Doubt the structure and rake makes it "worth it" monetarily even with the lol play, but if you had nothing else to do, hey why not...

Reg desk takes credit cards. Most banks process it as a cash advance though. I use my debit card so I don't have to carry the cash and there are no fees for that. Haven't done the TicketMaster thing

The million dollar guarantee ring event #2 has a total of 2564 players with 258 returning for Sunday's restart. Still 2 flights left so they need around 770 to meet the the guarantee. Looks like if you make bagging you are in the money.

The thought that non nlh tournaments would not get good turnouts is a joke. I don't just say this because I enjoy them, but people who have never played a live tournament before played the congress. As well as people who enjoy O8 or limit Omaha and have never played congress before. Please, two Omaha variations next year!

I've never played Congress before, but really like O8. I would have played the Congress tourney if I hadn't been in the $1m guaranteed. If I bagged flight C, I was going to late reg the Congress.

Well, I spewed off my 140k+ chips in level 14 if Friday night's 5pm satellite. Not sure how I so completely lost my mind to do that - but the stupidity of that has tilted me and I'm done. Not going to play any more flights. Good luck to those still in.

In other news, if for some reason you are planning to head back to Dallas around now, wait a couple of hours. I am just north of Texoma medical center in dennison and a BAD accident happened on the highway. We are all at a standstill on I75 waiting while emergency crews work. I came up on it just seconds after it happened and it's pretty bad. At least 3 cars and I've seen at least 4 ambulances from Sherman and dennison arrive.
