Bumping this since I booked some nights for this year's stop and dates are within a day of thread title. Looking forward to some good games. Understanding that Beau is really the year round place to be, do the other rooms pick up in traffic as well? Would probably be spending majority of my time at the IP but curious. Also, do cash games become "sanctioned" by WSOP when they role into town in regards to any changes being made to players/table and buy-in rules? (Hoping 2/5+) would become 9 handed rather than 10. Also, how is the SNG action? Cash sng payouts or lammers?

Really makes me angry how this WSOPC stop and the Beau's Gulf Coast Poker Championship always run so close together.

Would it kill them to move one to the spring? Makes no sense to me to intentionally compete like this and take away each other's success

They Have to capitalize on the influx of players. Not necessarily agree with it but I would assume that's why. Still looking for some answers to my other ?'s up there though lol

The Beau is the place to be for cash even with the IP series happening

Thank you kindly but I am somewhat looking for a more detailed response. Are the cash games at IP just lousy and the circuit didn't have that great of a positive effect on cash at the tourney venue itself? Can understand that the uncapped game dynamic at the Beau but would really prefer playing 9 handed hence my ?'s regarding wsop sanctioning the cash games.at I.P

How many 2/5 did the series generate @ BR assuming it's usually 1 during the week and maybe 2 on weekends(?) Non-circuit time.

Thanks!

Bump. Definetly reconsidering traveling seeing how the Seminole Hard rock stop only a few weeks later will be huge and could detract a lot of people from turning out to Biloxi. Seeing as this is generally the smallest participated tour stop to begin with(?). Would definitely appreciate some help with the specific ?'s I had regarding the cash game action during the event that I posted about earlier in this thread. Also strange they have t at least put out the schedule yet but have had HR schedule out for a couple weeks now. Thanks kindly to those in advance who can offer some insight for me.

I travel and deal the poker tournaments at various WSOP stops. I will be doing the Beau instead of IP.

As far as I have ever seen, the WSOP Circuit has next to nothing to do with the rules and regulations of cash games at each stop they go to. If the poker room has a demand for more dealers, they may ask for some of those dealers to work in their room as the tournaments are breaking down. But they seemingly don't put much say into how the games are ran. That is up to both the gaming commissions of the state they are in and the poker room itself. I would contact the poker room manager at each place you go to and pressure him to accommodate players that may have a preference over the norm of the poker room.

Having done seemingly countless stops with the crew that will be running IP, I can go ahead and lay out the tournament format that is typical for a Dennis Jones stop. The first weekend is the $365 re-entry event. Following that weekend, the 6-max $365 is usually on the following Monday. Monster Stack is typically scheduled for Wednesday. Then on Friday and Saturday will be the 2 flights of the main event.

Overall, it's 12 ring events but those are the most prominent events. You will usually have a mix of 1 $580 event and a handful more $365s including a few that are turbos.
