It runs the exact same dates as Beau Rivage series which will effect both series. More people will be in town, but it's tough to be in 2 places at same time.

Probably should have staggered starting times so if you bust you go get into the other one.
The event 1 reentry is a double stack. They are definitely trying to draw people away from the Beau series. I still think it would be better for the Biloxi poker scene if these 2 festivals were back to back instead of in the exact same time frame. There's only a couple days where I can bust out of 1 and still register for the other.
They completely overlap and events start at similar times, so it's nearly impossible to get to other venue unless you bust out in 1st 2 levels. To answer your question, the Monster at Beau is slightly better. The others at IP are better structure. It is possible to play both Mains though. I'm there from 9/8-20 and will be 90% at IP.

Ill be there the 7th till the 20th. Added the cash games at IP are going to be pretty good so that's where I'll be most of the time. Probably only play the main and cash the rest of the time
Yes. Big O is very popular in the area as well as PLO. PLO8 not so much.
I know you tourney grinders are upset with the lack of communication between properties but these two weeks will be the most poker action Biloxi will see all year. I highly recommend coming to this as there will be great cash action and plenty of tourneys to choose from.
There are plenty of affordable hotel rooms to choose from as there are close to 10 casinos in Biloxi now operating. Hardrock, beau, harrahs, golden nugget, palace, margaritaville, scarlett pearl, IP, just to name a few off the top of my head.
Gotta miss the weekend of the main(s) for a wedding but see everyone opening weekend. Glgl
I am coming in Friday 16th - Monday 19th. Not sure I'll play either main for bankroll reasons, but I'm looking forward to cash and blackjack action. 3 comped nights at Beau Rivage

Any chance you are looking for a roommate??
Let me know
Thx!
Never before have I seen two monster stack events (not counting the Main) at a WSOPC stop. Would be cool if it was a new trend, but it's obviously just done here to compete with the Beau 200k.
Can you guys list the links to the tourney structure of the Beau, can't find it.
Also, where did you guys see that late reg ends after level 13 for the 200k WSOPC ?
Usually late reg ends way before that.
Have to think nobody posting for this series or the one at Beau in nearly a month cannot bode well for turnout, but hey I am looking forward to it anyway. Will be there Friday through Monday. Glad the storm was last weekend and not this weekend.
I will be there 9/8-20 playing as many tourneys as possible. Staying at Harrah's. PM if interested in meeting for pre poker breakfast or post poker drinks.

Looking at the structure sheets, WSOPC Event 1 (200k) is definitely better than the Monster at Beau.
