Oh wow, thank you for posting this! I figured it wouldnt come out until July.

Two stops at Choctaw. Probably a good idea. I was JUST thinking that it would be a good idea for them to go to Seminole Hard Rock Florida and lo and behold, there it is. I bet that one might shatter records. They always kill it with huge fields there.

My only disappointment is that Lake Charles still cant manage to get a stop. It would undoubtedly destory with Houston just 2 hours away, begging for a legitimate tournament series.

When do you think the series schedules will become available?

Two stops at Choctaw is great. Glad to see they are doing Tulsa again, I know turnout was somewhat small, but that was a really great venue, looking forward to going back up there.

Will need significant assurances that the Rio stop will be better than last time with the logistical issues and tables on the floor. Since they didn't have much notice last time, maybe it will be different, please just hold the damn thing in Pavilion!

Me too. The tournament room was nice and comfortable, and they had a players lounge with free water/soda and very reasonably priced food and alcohol.

Only issue I had was one set of chips was ludicrous with the 25 and 500 chips being borderline indistinguishable. Literally inconceivable to me that someone got paid for making that decision.

Really glad to see the Vegas stop back at PH in November.

Just noticed they added a third stop in Vegas in late March at PH. Interesting timing. This is the busiest time of year in Vegas. I wonder if travelers will be turned off by the much higher hotel rates. Hopefully Caesars can offer good poker rates during this time.

Does anyone have that ranking that has been posted in prior new season's schedule threads that ranks the $365 re-entry and main event tournaments by the size of the 1st prize values from the prior year? It would be nice to see the one for the 2016-2017 season now that it is drawing to a close.

I know bigtex is as happy as the rest of us that Choctaw finally got another stop. Was crazy that others had three and Choctaw only had one.

Yep the number one stop on the circuit as far as number of players, friendly tourney staff and I get to visit family in Ft Worth and Oklahoma. Been wanting to tell people about this since January but I couldn't until contract was signed and wsopc released the schedule.

Just thought about it- Not one event west of Durant, Oklahoma that is not in California or Nevada. Pretty bad for western poker players. Why Can't there be one at Blackhawk, Phoenix, or Seattle?
