The Council Bluffs schedule has been posted on the WSOP-C site.

Highlights:
Only ME ($1675) & 1 NLHE ring event ($580) are > $365.
$365 LO8 ring event (Mon, 4/14 @ 5:00PM)

A lot of non-ring non-NLHE events (I wish the ring event was something other than LO8, like PLO8 or PLO):

Bad scheduling this year, up against some huge events in Florida and elsewhere. Really like council bluffs too, maybe next year.

If you get on Horseshoecouncibluffs.com it will have the hotels in the area. Harrahs, Country Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Microtel, Valueplace, and Springhill Inn ect are very close.

Can anyone verify that day 2 Sunday 4/20 of the main event will occur on Easter Sunday and not on Monday. In 2012, the TD elected to skip Easter Sunday and have day 2 in Council Bluffs on Monday instead. It falls on Easter again this year.

One thing cool about this place is if you are a platinum card member or whatever you can get your drinks for free. I just have the lowest tier card but just chat it up w the regulars and theyll get one for you, just tip the waitresses well. One of the few places ive seen outside of Nevada that you can drink that rakeback.
