I heard it requires online qualifiers to enter the events, where can I access those?

Not sure about the region restrictions unfortunately. Tencent licensed the brand to develop the mainland China market further so unsure if they will open up downloads else where. (They should though?)

There are free satellites in the sense you could play a lot with your free gold coins and have enough to enter the WSOP China satellites. However, most would spend real money to buy the diamonds/gold coins required to enter the satellites. Yes it will be paid satellites to try and win a ticket.

Furthermore, the tickets won will come out on the market shortly and be sold by 3rd parties.

The event will be taking place in Sanya, Hainan which is kinda like the Hawaii of China. Local government is pro poker and many big events take place there.
