Schedule is out now, thought I'd create a thread since I didn't find one.

No info posted on satellites on the page yet. Looking back at the April 2014 sats were $250 to enter.

Hoping to play in Event #1 and qualify for the main.

Thanks Anthony. So we're looking a $250 again for the main and I'm assuming sats running Thursday and Friday for flights A & B?

day 2 will be on Sunday and the final table will likely play out on Monday afternoon.

Was curious about making a weekend trip for Event #11 (the Saturday-Sunday turbo) to get my feet wet in WSOPC play, but it seems like the casino is hard to reach without driving and I don't drive. Frowns.

Diestal im sure if you fly out there some1 close by can/will swing out and get you. Maybe for a small fee or something but im sure you could get a ride

Hmm, interesting. Certainly I'd be willing to contribute to that cause.

There are frequent flights to Charlotte from my local airport, so that would work.

I didn't know if asking for rides was allowed, so I didn't want to do that in one of my first posts and risk the Wrath of Mod, if that makes any sense.

Weekends in Cherokee are usually crazy booked. That's without considering all the poker traffic for the circuit. I am calling today to try and get a room. Will settle for one out in town. As far as a deal or discount, I highly doubt it.

Very excited to play event 1 and 3. Only played one nightly last year because I couldn't stay for three days. I did ship it though.

Hoping to repeat in a ring event.

Thanks, hope to to see you there. I'm going to focus on the weekday events, simply because as you say, weekends in Cherokee are insanely packed. For anyone looking for suggestions, I stayed at the Grand Cherokee Tuesday night after I played the little $60 tourney. Vey nice hotel for $55. breakfast, internet, 500 yards from the casino
