the player of staffing fee is the add on that most players said they preffered to have taken out beofre the tournament. The buy in is 104+11+10 which is very reasonable in comparison.

Is the main scheduled to finish Sunday or do you think it will have to conclude on Monday?

For those considering going to this ****hole, wear a thick sweatshirt and sweatpants and expect to be seated under a freezing airduct for 8hrs. This room is srsly the worst. They've ran series in The Pavilion before and numerous people have complained about the freezing temperatures, but sure enough they have us back in there for this series under the same conditions.

A lot of willy-nilly-ness and uncertainty from the staff too.

I'm all set with this place. Figure it out, guys.

(Dealers were good though)

Just fwiw, I wouldn't of bothered posting if it was the first time, but they've get complaints about it everytime a tournament is ran in The Pavilion but don't do anything to rectify the issue and keep hosting in there... Probably seems petty to most, but w/e just feel like players should be reasonably comfortable in return for their rake. The floor people seemingly can't relate because it's prob snug in their suits and whatnot, but players sitting in the same spot with much less is a different story. Quick shoutout to the heroic man at my table who sat there in a t-shirt cus he hooked up some cold old lady w/ his sweatshirt. At least turn down the speed the cold air is blown through the ducts for the dealers sake. The ducts are blowing enough on some tables to flip cards being pitched (ask them). Ran like a home game in there, except in our home games we usually have one or two people that know how to turn the fan off.

That is all. Got tacos on deck, finna get my endorphins back up and not be such a sour puss in your thread.

Just bagged up some chips from 1A. And sure it was cold but to have this strong of a negative opinion on the room and tournament is ridiculous. It would have to be as cold as Antarctica without being able to wear clothing for me not to play in such a well structured, well run, and absurdly soft tournament.

I'm more bothered that they didn't do anything to correct the complaints they received in previous series about the room rather than the actual temperature. Gotta keep some sweatpants in the trunk I guess. And of course its worthwhile for good players, but how many fish in later series might be on the fence about playing and are persuaded against because they'd rather not deal with the conditions. Sure people can obviously deal with it, but the point is they shouldn't have to.

I do agree tho, very soft tournament. GL on Day 2
