Thanks
Scratch that, I no longer need a ride.

I really like the scheduled timing for WPT Montreal in February, especially with day 2 on Sunday. What are your plans for the structure that day, and will there be any consideration for the Super Bowl that evening?

Glad to hear the timing is good for you!

I don't have any final word on this but WPT structures are very stable so it will most likely be 10 60-min levels on Day 1a and Day 1b and then 9 60-minute levels on Day 2. Days will almost certainly start at 11am.

This means that by the time the Super Bowl starts the tournament will already be in level 17+, so there will likely be only approximately 65-75 players left.

I'm not sure when the last time you visited was, but we've added a LOT of TVs since - there are over 70 now - and most if not all of them will be tuned to the big game.

We still haven't worked out what else we might do - but it occurs to me that hosting a Super Bowl Party at the Rail might be a possibility... stay tuned, as they said in the old days of Television!

it's not always about just getting the biggest turnout for for one individual event as well. like you said, if you hosted more PLO events, it would lead to more popularity. and we both know that there is definitely a solid group of PLO players/die hards to begin with.

PG could definitely become one of the PLO staples in Canada/the Eastern area/North America if you guys would try and let it happen imo.
as many as 6 or 7 PLO games running at a time a few nights this festival, case in point made, plz add a 500-1k PLO buyin tourney to next series, thx. I know you're guys best interest is obv running that many PLO cash games over a PLO tourney but give tha ppl what they want!

Hi all - we're starting a new thread about this in just a minute or so, but the whole Playground Winter Festival including the new WPT Playground has been offset by a week to avoid conflicts with the Super Bowl.
