WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open- Seminole HR (Hollywood)
Just saw this up on their website, although for now its just a pretty little JPEG.
It is slated to run from Jan 29-Feb 14. The main event will be a $3500 buy-in with a $750,000 guarantee. I hope the other guarantees are as good as they were for the Rock & Roll series. At any case, should be worth hitting it up.

WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open - Hollywood Hard Rock, Florida, 1/29 to 2/14
Below is the link to a PDF for the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood's next WPT Event. There will be 18 events capped off by the $3,500 buy-in NLH Main Event which carries a $750,000 guarantee. The Main Event will be a non-televised tour event and offer POY points similar to the one held at Jacksonville.

Thanks for the quick reply William Mason. Do you foresee running the promotion you guys had before of splashing the pot, or awarding a satellite ticket to a high hand winner? The deepstack seems like it might be fun to play in as well, not to mention the NLHE/PLO, but that's on Monday...guess I'll have to go deep in order to have a suitable excuse to play on it.

Bill - schedule looks great. Looking forward to it......are we stuck with Poker Room again (no Ballroom/etc). I saw a 250 runner cap on the schedule and assumed that was the case.....

Re: WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open - Hollywood Hard Rock, Florida, 1/29 to 2/14
• Day 1A & 1B (60 Minute Levels) will end after Level 10.
• Day 2 will play 90 minute levels until 36 players
• Day 3 will play 90 minute levels until the final table is reached.
• Final Day 4 will play 60 minute levels and 30 minute levels heads up.
William- can you explain why you would SHORTEN levels on day 4 after playing 90 min levels on days 2/3? esp for a non-televised WPT (where tape and TV production costs don't matter), shortening levels when the majority of the $$ is being played for seems extremely absurd.

Yes, we will be in the poker room. This event was not on our original schedule and had to be added to Season X. The ballrooms already had been booked months ago.

Even thought this is a non-televised tour event, the final table will have live streaming and be held in Paradise Live. From what I understand, all WPT Main Event final tables are 60/30.

We will be holding several "Splash the Pot" promotions in the month as well as a Freeroll that will give away ME seats, seats for the $1,100, and seats for a ME super.

It would be ridiculous to play 90 minute levels throughout the final table. In the spring, the WPT final table played from 4:30PM to 4:30 AM at the Hard Rock. 6 Handed, and at 60 minute levels.
In tournament play, it was always the norm to reduce levels toward the end of a tournament. Especially from 90 minutes.

I don't see starting stack chip numbers in tournaments other than WPT ME. 15k and 30k in Deep Stack Event on 2nd/3rd ( Event 8)?
I was there in April for the WPT Series where there was a Similar $350 Tournament to Event 8 with four Day 1's over two days and there was mayhem with re entries with lots of people buying multiple Day 1 tickets prior to the event starting and either selling them at a profit when it sold out or on the quiet passing them on to others if they didn't need the extra Day 1 ticket as they progressed. Different views within the room on how transfers could couldn't happen. How does this work now.

I'd love to come to this, but if the TD does not require that a player be broke before making a re-entry then I won't bother.

You could only buy into a different starting Day not the same day, but people did have muliple tickets before sitting down and confusion was a) if you could buy multiple days & b) for those that bought them what you could do with them.
