Last year it was basically plo from 2/5-50/100 and NL think it was 1/2-5/10.

On thursday we had a 2/5 game going, we did mandatory btn straddle, then we added a $5 ante...5 hours into it the floor comes over to see if anyone had checked with them about adding an ante haha...they let us keep playing that way.

What was the cash game action like this year? What stakes ran consistently for NL and PL? Did most games happen around the main event or prior?

Fortunately, I did not have any time to play cash games but people staying in my Air BNB said the PLO and NL games were very juicy. I eleive they had up to 5/10 PLO and 10/20 NL. But i could b wrong about the NL.

They were telling me a story that happened at their table. A young guy was trolling an older Whale at the table. After the young guy won a 6K or so pot off the old guy he said "I wish I can be like you someday" and the old whale replied "you will never be like me, I am worth millions" and threw the rest of his stack to the young guy (1200$ or so ) and left. LOL

If you want someone to believe you're worth millions, that's a pretty good way of doing so.

Although hopefully telling this story won't encourage people to troll old whales! Don't do it!

Ditto, whales should never be trolled. We don't want a disgruntled Ca$h Chucker leaving the table over a few cheeky remarks.

Fun players and whales are the life blood of the game. Don't forget it.
