I'm a nit, so yeah, basically. Just because I'm investing $3k on a tournament doesn't mean I want to throw money away.

Guess I'm just spoiled as Vegas hotel rooms are as cheap as $20/night throughout the WSOP.

The Marriott Affiliate over the bridge could be for 79$ a night.


Also, your total rewards card should get you some discounts at Harrah's Resort(right next to borgata)....guessing you have one since you live in vegas.

Thanks for the info. Not sure which Marriott you're talking about... all I see is a Courtyard on Pacific. I do have a TR card, but am not a pit games player, so doubt they'd offer me anything.

I'm strictly a poker player in AC, and I get offers from Harrah's/Showboat/Caesars all the time. Just log onto the Harrahs TR website and see.

Yes...I think it's a courtyard marriott It's a very nice hotel and has access right to the abescon blvd.

Not logged in, Showboat is $199/night. Logged in, $189. lol @ Harrah's.

Just call the Borgata Reservation line and ask for the poker rate. They will quote you the rate for the tournament series and you will have no problems at all. Hell half the time I don't event think I show them my tournament ticket. May be a bit different if you have never played there before and don't already have a MyBorgata card.

I've gotten the tournament rate just by saying I played in the tournament and haven't showed receipts. I also have Tab's cell phone number and he has purchased me a room at the tournament rate (a not so thinly veiled brag, i know). Also last summer I had a problem where they only had like water club or something left and he was able to fix it for me. So do not be scared to approach him he is very personable and outgoing and is willing to help if you have an issue.

Plus the past 3 times I've been there I've degenned it up so hard in the pits that I have Sunday- Friday comped now until october Saturdays I have at $89

Tab, still eliminating the Limit event? Seems like you have ALL other styles but Limit. Can't you throw it in on a day you are holding a Omaha or Ladies or something like that?

The main event is 100% a WPT event and will have TV coverage.
