Hello,
I will be in Las Vegas 07/03 and I have a choice of playing:
WPT 500 Turbo flight or WSOP 1000 event.
I know that WPT at Aria will be 565$ 15000 chips and 20 minutes levels
WSOP 1000$ 1hr levels.

I am cash game player and just looking for best value and fun factor.
Another factor I stay at Aria.

These tournaments have very little in common so it basically comes down to what you prefer... fast or relatively slow structure

15000 20 minutes vs 5000 1hr levels - what is the difference - is it double?
I think that Aria WPT switches to 1hr levels on day 2
My guess that WPT will also have way more participants than that Monday WSOP 1000$ event

anyway, thanks for the input but I am leaning towards WPT at Aria

If playing next to slot machines and smokers is a concern, then avoid playing WPT at Aria. Last year the tables were on the casino floor right next to slot machines and people smoking on the rail..

I am casual player and that stuff does not bother me( kind of entertains me too - except smoke) - also I would imagine Aria will have softer field that Monday WSOP 1000 event

That WPT sounds worse than WSOP Deepstacks.

The WSOP 1000 is better. If you keep re-entering on subsequent days, the WPT500 turns into a 2K event, with a crappy structure.
