How big are we expecting the fields in most of the prelims to be? I can't find numbers for last year.

Last year there were fewer prelims. I can't recall what happened in them.
I expect all of them to cover their guarantees and probably reach 200+ players but that is a SWAG (Scientific Wild Azz Guess)
By the way, they were running 4 satellites at a time into tomorrows Mega. As soon as one would finish, the next would start.
Tomorrow will probably not reach the 508 of three weeks ago but it will likely be 400 at least.

That's good news. Thanks for the update.

Today, next to last Mega. 489 runners, 98 seats awarded. Went well.
Look for even bigger crowd next Sunday. Raymer will be there as well. I would strongly suggest buying Mega seats early.

Looks like there will be a lot of players hoping to play the tournament very disappointed too. Received word that they will guaranteed 380 players plus alternates and looks like we are at almost 500 players right now and I'm still stuck by the bingo hall entrance.
Some players got here at 8:45 and they were already registering already. Lots of people behind me are leaving and I'm not sure if I should still wait

yeah, i figured there would be a **** load of people trying to play today, good luck to anyone that got in! 
so they didn't cap it at 200+alt's? and they're going to play a 500 person tourney in one day? lol, better win some races
