This Sunday's Mega is in the poker room and I doubt it gets 400 people in it. They usually pick up as the River actually gets closer.

No, the casino will not exchange lammers for cash or make change for lammers using cash. Lammers are available in $100 and $500 denominations only.

They will change a $500 lammer for 5 $100 lammers however.

You can always sell a lammer to another player.

If you win enough lammers, you can use them to buy into more than one event and combine the buy ins to total a round number.

The first Mega is Sunday the 24th. It starts at noon in the Poker Room. Direct buy in is available now for $440 (including phoning in with a credit card) and or Sats will be running right up until start time.

It is possible to pre-register for ALL EVENTS at any time from now until the start time of the event.

Players MUST have a Passport Players Card to enter any River event including the Megas. The cards are free, they can be obtained from the Players Club throughout the casino or from the front desk in the poker room. You just need a picture ID.

Advantages of the players card include free meals with cash game play, accrue points to be used toward free rooms etc. if you don't want mailers, just tell the person signing you up you want to opt out of mailings.

The Passport also makes signing up for tournaments much easier and quicker now that the Bravo system is installed.

I used 3 lammer chips and $30 cash.

They are using the old chips for satelites, very hard to tell what denomination they are.

The green ones are $25T, the Black ones are $100T, the purple ones are $500T. The purple can be confused for the black so it's best to take a second and look closely. They are marked with the denominations.

What a joke. These have to be the worst chips in the country. I can't even tell them apart in my own stack, let alone when someone makes a bet.

And they've been this way for years. How ****ing hard is it to get new chips?

I totally agree that the chipset Winstar is using for non river tourneys needs to be replaced (tomorrow). Order a new set for the main and use that old river set in all non main event tourneys. Easy fix....

Probably not. I expect ~200 to 250 players, there should be plenty of tables left to run cash games.
