There were about 450 for the mega yesterday. I got there around 10:30 am hoping to play a STS and make it into mega. By noon time, there were about 40 people on the waiting list including myself still waiting for STS to open. All the dealers were assigned to mega and meanwhile, half of the poker room was empty and many people simply on waiting list for cash and STS games. I live far away. Was hoping to make just one trip.

During the Main Event for the River, do the cash games shut down at 10 or 11am? I know they have for some of the Megas, but that may have been purely due to the fact that they needed the space/tables. But, I didn't know the plan for this year, and whether cash will continue to run up through and including when the River Main Event Day 1s get started at noon. Thanks in advance!

99.9% sure the main tournies wont affect cash games BC they are in the event center instead of the poker room.

YOU hope it goes until Tuesday!!! 
When i photographed Bronson last year i took my first picture of the final table at 4:45 p.m on Mon. Sept 5th and took the picture as the final hand was turned over at exactly 12:14 A.M. on Tuesday.
Aside from the excitment i still thought one of the funniest things was when we left for the hotel. I wanted to buy him a drink BUT the ONLY thing open was a FREE drink from the pop dispensers....everything else was closed. (welcome to Oklahoma) haha
I would say it is safe to say 99.9% of everyone will be gone on Monday. glgl
