Did you read the disclaimer I added to the bottom of the descriptions? Let me quote it here:

In fact, the $5,000 "NO JUICE" NLHE tournament is very different than what I originally typed in.

Starting stack is $25,000T and the blinds are 60 minutes.

No fees will will be withheld from the prize pool.

One starting day, Monday August 27th. 9AM Registration, 12 Noon Start time. 500 players plus alternates for 3 hours. If the tournament is still running Tuesday, August 28th at 12AM, the casino reserves the right to suspend play until Tuesday, August 28th at 12noon. If play has not completed by 12AM Wednesday, the casino reserves the right to suspend play until Wednesday, August 29th at 4PM.

I apologize for the error but I was using my little Netbook at work, on break. I did use cut and paste to save some typing, so sue me.

But this is a pretty damn special event considering the buyin, the starting stack and the complete lack of any form of juice, fees, vig, call it what you may. The prize pool is guaranteed at a minimum of $300,000 and if more than 60 players show up, it will be higher.

DG I know you take abuse here so I wanted to say thanks for posting this. The 5k sounds awesome if I had that kind of cash.

When it says 9am reg for the tourneys, is that implying you can't reg UNTIL 9am, or that the reg window for that day opens at 9am but you can still register in advance like last year?

You can buy into ANY and ALL events at the window or over the phone as of June 1st except of course the STS's which run as they fill.

Registration for the tournament of the day, starts at the times posted. It's a good idea to buy your seats ahead of time for tournaments like the $330 which should get a lot of players.

Would be interested to see how the stacks fluctuate in regards to structure, if someone could do it. Can't imagine 7k stacks/30 min levels being deep at all?

will there be the optional dealer toke again for an additional 3k chips?

Ya I read the disclaimer. But, I don't think I'm the only one that wouldn't be surprised if that was the structure Winstar had given it, since it was a no rake mtt. It was quite ironic that the error you made worked out like that.

Anyways, I am glad to see it was an error. It appears Winstar has slowly but surely made improvements each year to The River tournament/series. Looks good, and again thanks to you for relaying all the info over there to us.

I'll probably play all. looking forward to $5k and the Main.
