If you make a buy in with cash or credit cards, the buy in will not be refunded as a general rule.

I have asked if buy ins bought with cash can be refunded in lammers, I am waiting for an answer.

As per the rules, once you have purchased a seat in a tournament, you will be expected to play it. It cannot be transferred to another player.

And as mentioned before, Lammers may be sold or traded to other players but they have no cash value, the casino will not buy them back.

Is American Express taken for buy ins this year? Last year it was Visa/MC only.

They will accept Visa/MC or Discover but NOT American Express.

You can get a refund on tickets in the form of lammers only regardless of how you bought the ticket. They will not refund back to your credit card or in cash. Make sure you can play the event you buy into.

If you plan on playing the $5000 No Juice Event, you could easily use a refund of Lammers for that purpose. I had someone tell me he won't buy into the $5000 event until that day in case something comes up at the last minute. Just as insurance.

alright thats a little interesting. im only coming for the main and want to make sure i can play all 3 starting days. hopefully i advance on day 1a and wont need to play 1b or 1c. so you are saying if i reg with a credit card for all 3 starting days over the phone i will get refunded lammers? that kind of sucks. i guess ill just reg for 1a over the phone and play it by ear for the last 2 days if that is the case

From a historical perspective, in past years, Day 1C has been the only day that has sold out and had alternates left over when time ran out. This year however, they will take alternates for 3 hours instead of 2.

In past years, no refunds were allowed at all.

Lammers can be sold to other players and there is an event that starts on Sunday, Sept 2 with a $1050 buy in.

One more thing, if you need to refund a buy in for lammers, you have to do that before the event starts.

Played in the mega last Sunday and although I did not finish at a level to get lammers, but had a great time, and since I got in off of a single table satellite. I feel great about the experience.
I did play in another single table satellite Saturday and won 400 in lammers used these for entry into the bounty tournament on the 21st.
Dealers where the best, with two exceptions one that was more interested in the Olympics on the TVs and a female at another table. Several players at the table had to redirect him several times while he was dealing at our table. I did find him better than the dealer I had in an early morning tournament on Sunday, While this dealer was focused on the game but was rude and condescending to everyone at the table. At least he was an equal opportunity sort of guy.

During the day, they have run one or 2 on Thursdays, I don't work Wednesdays.

I think that this will likely increase since the Choctaw event is over and the time grows near for the Series to begin.

I can say for sure that many, many moire STS's are running this year than last year. Multiples going at once is common on weekends and they get seated and started quicker as a rule.
