How many are you guys expecting for the 5k dealer-guy? Assume theres a big range of predictions, 120-150 seems about right to me?

Re: WinStar 2012 River Series $4,000,000 GUARANTEE BIG CHANGES!!!
I don't work Tuesdays or Wednesdays so I can't speak to what the action is like then for the STS's.
The room is definitely spreading many more STS's than in previous years due to the lammers being offered.
Room rates are about $70 to $99. You can get a small discount using the Players Card. You must have a players card to play STS's and any other event but they are free, you can get one in the poker room with a photo ID.
Thursdays I might see one or two during the day shift and not sure about the evenings. Friday and Saturdays they are running pretty much back to back and usually with more than one going at a time.
All of the River Event tables will be 10 players.
The regular who is playing all of the STS's he can told me he needed $17K to buy into all the events. One day he told me he was up to $9K in lammers and a week or so later he told me he had bought into all the events already. I know he "cashed" in the first Mega but he might have used cash for some of the events.

Hey, Dealer-Guy --
Thanks for the story of the reg winning all of those lammers. I was curious how long does it take to play a one-table STS? (And then I guess I was wondering how many STS does that one guy play in a day or is even ABLE to play in one day?)
Thanks!!!

Weekends, I have seen 3 and at times as many as 4 STS's going at once.
At times like that, they start one as soon as one finishes.
$125's & $185's last 60 to 75 minutes on average.
$245's last slightly longer.
$125's pay out $400 in lammers to each of the top 3 players.
$185's pay out $600 in lammers to each of the top 3 players.
$245's pay out $800 in lammers to each of the top 3 players.
Mega's pay out lammers as well.
The player told me he has purchased all his entries but I'm not sure he used lammers he won for all of them, he is still playing STS's.

Thanks for the info, Dealer-Guy. One more thought. How long does the $440 Megas take as well? (Gee, do I sound like a guy who can't get out of the house once in a while or what???

The $440 megas generally take 6-7 hours.

No, the cash to pay out at the end if the tournaments has to come from somewhere.
But you can buy into any other River event or Mega.
BTW, there is a new page on the website that details lammer use guidelines.
Check it out HERE
