And how tough was the field? The usual donkfest in the early stages? Also, what was the structure? I'm thinking of playing it this year.

Field was fairly soft with a turbo structure (comparable to the daily deepstacks). Def good value if you don't mind firing a few bullets.

I have been playing 2/5 for several years with the guy that won it. The field must have been soft. When he walks in, the wait list gets crazy.

Anybody can win a tournament, doesnt necessarily mean the field was soft or not. Especially if they are aggressive and chips around. Even if you have a negative ROI. Only guys that really have very little shot are the old guys in Cowboy hats who open button 15% 3 handed, or dont defend their blinds to min opens with enough frequency.

With that said of course itll be a softer field because it is a low cost buy in and in the USA whichis home to more live donks than any other country, but that is somewhat negated because pros can fire 4+ bullets if they want making the reg to rec ratio worse.
