Some places that used to report most of their tournaments no longer do so. I'm pretty surprised that the Orleans stopped even for their current tournament series. Others like Mirage used to report even recurring tourneys and they stopped.

I don't think they understand the amount of casual players that they're losing by no longer doing this. I know more than a handful of people that will choose one that reports results vs one that doesn't every time. Maybe I'm missing something here?

Reporting to Hendon Mob is the LEAST of my concerns in choosing an event. My ego does not care enough about whether any manner of cash shows up online...and since I self-fund my entries, it matters not one iota whether someone else can 'verify' results.

Maybe our definitions are different there. I really just mean non-pro's. I don't think many people playing in any of the Vegas summer tournament series don't know about Hendon Mob.

Here's how I first heard of Hendon mob:

3 years ago, 4th stage of a deep stack tournament. AK raises to 3x big blind, AA raises to 9 times, AK pushes all in for 80 big blinds and is called. AK sucks out, AA doesn't take it well and just keeps repeating "Bro, I guarantee you my Hendon Mob ranking is 2 orders of magnitude above yours. Check it out bro. ". At least 10 times he said that. Everyone at the table had no clue what he was talking about until we googled it.

Unfortunately that busted him because from then on everyone in a big hand would say "Fold bro, I'm 2 orders of magnitude better than you on Hendon. Check it out bro. "

So when anyone mentions the Hendon Mob I assume they are all like that guy.

They probably stopped when they realised that Alex Dreyfus is a dick.
