Venetian DSE III May 22 - July 15 - Page 3 - WSOP and Tournament Circut

Very disappointed. They could have scheduled a $400-500 mixed event for each game three days prior to the $1500 wsop version. This format has proven to be successful in the past.

I am not sure why the dissapointment. You have not played an event here since 2012 as this is not your venue of choice. Once again, the format was successful in 2010 and 2011, and I have overwheming data since then.

Tommy u should think about changing this, u know the schedule is bad when u only have 1 or 2 ppl saying they like it then a mix of NL and mixed players saying they will skip the events.

Looks like I'll be skipping this unless it gets re-worked.

Personally, I don't understand the "disappointment" surrounding the schedule and agree with VTD on mostly everything that's he's said.

My only disappointment is I arrive late on the 18th. Was looking to play some 400-600 with a decent guarantee. I leave on the 28th. So no real options for me this time around. I will probably throw the 1100 in my schedule if possible. No real major issue with the schedule more with how my schedule lines up with it and no options for those 10 days.

Tommy, what hotel rates are being offered during the series? What is the code to use?

Also if you book 2 nights do you have to play 2 events or does one suffice to get the tourney rate?

If you call 877-444-3777 and provide group code CP45A1, you will receive a Suite Rate of $109 weekday and $179 weekend. Of course, there are taxes and fees that apply and there are certain black out dates. If you provide the group code, you will receive the suite rate regardless of play.

If you do not provide the group code, then 6 hours of cash game play per day or a DSE tournament $400 or higher will cover one suite rate reduction.

This thing is all Kesslers fault. If he played mainly at the Venetian, they make the schedule the way he would want it so they wouldn't have to hear him whine. Allen, get on it for next year!

I actually like the Venetian alot. During the wsop I play an event every day so its impossible to play any multi day events at Venetian other than the main. During the year I'm usually on the road during the dse events. Didnt even realize I hadn't played there since 2012, it just hasn't worked out logistically.

Well, this is a pretty big disappointment. I'm in Vegas from the 6th to the 15th and was hoping to play something other than NLHE at the V. I might play one of the 400s but I doubt it; everything else is just too high. Too bad, I played there in 2011 and 2012 and was always quite happy with how the tournaments were run.

Gn buy ins are too small and tourists need to cab it from the strip. Too much of a hassle. Wsop mixed games are pricey for a lot of people. Venetian was perfect. On the strip, 300-600 buy in. Oh well

very pleased with the schedule, the addition of guarantees to the tournaments, elimination of 4pm high buyin 6m and removal of the 2500 which werent great is a huge plus, the 600/1100/1600 tourneys at venetian are the best, im sure that 2100 will be great too, awesome job tommy
