Venetian Deepstack Extravaganza lll Schedule - Page 2 - WSOP and Tournament Circut

I tweeted Venetian Poker and they said the starting stack for the $1,100/$2M guaranteed (MSPT sponsored event) is 15,000 chips with NO $10 add-on for 5,000 additional chips. So it is not the exact same as the MSPT main events. Starting stack of 15,000 instead of 20,000. That was according to the Venetian Poker twitter handle. If this is not the case, somebody from MSPT/Venetian needs to verify the structure for this event.

That same tweet also said it will go to 60 minute levels which will make it a better structure from that point on. Current MSPT structure stays at 40 minute levels throughout.

Compare entire structure, not just about starting chips.

In a couple parts of the country, yes (hi only), but at Venetian and I think all other rooms in Vegas "Big O" unless otherwise specified is a five card hi-lo game.

Yes, and I continue to be amazed at the number of big guarantees they keep putting out despite the overall negative environment and lack of poker resources, not to mention increased competition. All of the venues in Vegas do something well and none are perfect, including the Venetian. But you have to give Tommy and his staff a lot of credit. They routinely provide a ton of value by running great tourneys with the deepest non-WSOP structures in Vegas.

Per Tommy...

We do allow wire transfers to the cage which can be withdrawn for poker chips to be used for tournament buy ins or chips for cash games. There is only a very small % of the wire than can be used for strictly cash. All questions can be directed to one of my cage managers at Benjamin.Castro@sands.com. He will be able to answer all questions directly.

It's scheduled to be finished in 3 days. Don't think they will make it to the final table at the end of day 2.

Technically the last two weeks were called a "warmup". The 2 big $250 multi flight events got some good numbers.

First one had 867 entries
Second one 770 entries.

The other events had so-so turnout. Today is official start with a $400 NLH multi-flight event .
