Event 1 for WSOP Circuit events are always strong with a low buyin event, then they start tailing off. Can St. Louis buck the trend?

looks like the first "official" ring event that started on Friday got a total of 675 runners. Great turnout for a first time event in st. louis

I'm still in Event #1, we played down to 26 last night. 675 total runners, stacks are super short coming into today. We start back up at 2 pm central. Gl me.

The Asian place is fantastic. Great Dim Sum and average sushi; everything else there is good as well.

404 less runners, that is a big drop and event #2 had the better structure. Just shows most players don't have a clue about structures, or they did not like the quality of dealers, the smoke or noise(not being away from the rest of casino). Or maybe all of the above.

The buyin is also higher, which would affect the size of the field more than concerns about the structure.

what table(s) were you on yesterday? I was on 62 for a majority of the day before busting.

Once we got near the monday bubble and round-for-round I was the guy the pitboss made the announcement about no cellphones. Needless to say, I was a little heated.
