Hi.

This is from a live tournament, where we´re 12 players (6 for table), final table is 10 players and it pays to 6 players.

I believe I made the same action all the time, and as correct, but because some people said I played bad, I would like your opinion:

Blinds are 3.000/6.000, ante 500

Average stack is around 100.000 and I'm the shortstack of the table with 36.000 (3.000 on the SB).

The BB is a very tight player, last hand went all in with AA UTG and got paid and goes to around 90.000.

I'm at the SB and all fold to me. I shove and he pays after a long thinking with ATs. I had J4o.

Do you think I play bad? I had around 6 blinds. If yes, which range would you consider shoving?

Miguel

Wrong forum. This is not a strategy forum.

However, IMO your play wasn't that bad. He's short stacked too, but he has to have a pretty good hand to call off more than a third of his stack in that spot. He just woke up with a good hand. In any case, you weren't that far behind.
