At least 200 as that's what hits their guarantee. More and more ppl have been coming down each series. I'd say 250 would be a good number to expect.

The flyer is confusing. If day 1 is all 45 min levels, 10 hrs of play, plus breaks and dinner break. Figure 11pm will be when day 1s end.

What do you do about collusion on your Seneca Property? I have played there numerous time and everyone is on the table talking about how much of a piece they bought of everyone else.... I don't care too much, as the cards play themselves, but one of the main drawbacks is that everyone knows each other there and it is the same grinders day in and day out.

Word to the wise... keep your eyes peeled in this poker room.... I once played a tournament there and saw there was a clear "glue" mark on the Ace of hearts... I have also final tabled one of the bigger tournaments and when we are down to two tables everyone knows each other... and have action on each other.... I am sure it happens in other card-rooms, but Niagara falls is the worst I have seen...

Here are some guys that run together....mostly the ones in the bottom picture are the ones I have seen that are "thick-as-thieves" these guys buy the action... not hard to pick out. The floor knows about all this, but nothing they really can do-or care to do about it. I doubt they would ever throw one of these guys out... oh well.. As long as you know what you are getting into...

This is very true, everyone knows everyone in this place, same people day in and day out. It's very awkward when i play the 2/5 and the other 9 people at the table know everything about each other and seem like they're soft playing each other, while I am the outcast. However, most of the players in that picture play pretty damn horrendously and love acting like "cool poker pros" when it's clear they have full time jobs.

Tell me. Which ones are the ones with the full time jobs? All of them? One of them? Which one? They're SOOOOOOO cool because they're happy one of their friends won a f*cking WSOP bracelet and over 1 million dollars. Oh my god, they're acting like they own the place.

As one of the people who buy action from other players. Guess I'm colluding. Kill me for trying to make money.

Anyways. I guarantee you there's no soft play or colluding. Everybody in that room playing these tournaments are there to make money. Everyone you're accusing of colluding also has reputations in the room to keep. Theres no colluding going on. Granted I can't speak for the WHOLE room but I can tell you there's not as much colluding as you think

It's a small poker room that brings little traffic outside of WNY. Of course most people are going to know one another when the tournaments usually get under 100 people and there is only one or two 2/5 games going each night. To claim collision because the room is smaller than your average poker room is pretty absurd and insulting to the players that play there.

This might be shocking to hear but sometimes poker players have big egos and would love to bust their friends/opponents out of the tournaments there to claim they are "better" at poker than their friends. Most of those guys in the pictures above would love nothing more than to send their buddies to the showers.

I've never seen the floor make a biased ruling favoring a regular compared to someone they've never seen before, either. They treat everyone the same.

To come in here and make these claims anonymously is pretty ridiculous and in poor taste. If you have any specific examples I'd love to hear them. I'm sure if you suspect some sort of collusion or soft play during this tournament series you can alert the floor and surley they would address the claims. Coming in this thread derailing it without any type of proof or examples is pretty insulting.

I was with you up until this point. I don't think I've seen the floors make rulings based on bias towards regulars and away from visitors. I have absolutely seen multiple instances where floors have been railroaded by information and have only listened to what dealers+regulars are saying, and blatantly ignore visitors (and especially visitors who aren't involved in the hand, and are thus unbiased).

Anyone have a idea of how much prize money will be in event 1? Im guessing all the Seneca regs will be there since its the second biggest event on the schedule. $100 shy of the summer slam main.

You can't really compare this to the summer slam because it's completely different. Summer slam had multiple starting flights- this one is a one-day only event.

I would say anywhere from 9-12k, probably more around 10.5k

You can make this point valid for probably 90% of poker rooms in the world though.
