How much ya looking to sell it for?

Coming down from J-ville tomorrow! I play in Tampa a few days a month. Anyways I have comps on my card including some I got when i was down last in the poker room. How does this comp thing work for the registration? where do i go get the vouchers for my comp points before I register? Hoping to get for PLO cash games going while down there, hows the PLO action right now?

If you have comps in your poker account you can use them for any of the WPT events or satellites. You go to the far right of the desk where you sign up for cash games and a supervisor will get you the voucher.

There is a PLO tournament tonight so likely a PLO cash game will break out at some point.

Awesome yeah I wish i was there for the PLO tournament! So comp dollars on my card count can be used or is there different kind of comps on my card?

Down to 28 of the original 179 in the $200 turbo. Blinds are 8k 16k paying top 17. It's almost to the point where all anyone can do is shove preflop and hope for the best

Where you around for the final 15? We ended up chopping it 15 handed for $2016 each - and then played down to 5 handed, and the 5 people remaining drew high card for the $2250 seat. I made it to the final 5 but couldn't bink the seat Normally I would never chop 15 handed but it was such a crap shoot and the blinds were so high it was a huge luckfest at the end. Hard rock wouldn't facilitate a chop of more than 12 people so it was a bit of a clusterfuc but everything worked out in the end.

Makes me feel a little bit better about contributing $550 to the prize pool for event #2 without playing a single hand because I woke up violently ill Saturday and spent the whole day in bed.

FWIW I just learned that hard way not to chop unless it's facilitated by management, next time wait for 12 .

No but he tried to . I'm a very firm man about my money. I made sure to be one of the guys getting a payout and giving money to other people.

Yeah its unfortunate that The Hard Rock wouldn't facilitate it with 15 people left. The average stack had 8 bbs.

What made things even more difficult was that the winner of the tourney got the $2250 seat. We wanted to chop it 5 handed and have them let us continue playing for the winner to get the seat - they wouldn't do that - absurdity. A very simple request that they could have accomodated with ease - yet they wouldn't do it. One floor guy was going to let us do it - but the other guy came over and said no.

You mean you couldn't just play for it and have the winner give 400 bucks to everyone else?
F those guys they don't let us do last longers anymore either.

The problem was that if we played it out, then the top 2 places were going to get a W-2 for 6k and 10K. So to avoid anyone getting paid over $5k we had to initiate a chop 5 handed. Considering we were only getting paid $2k for the chop no one wanted a w-2 showing they had won $10k or $$6k.

The hard rock could have just facilitated a chop 15 handed and let us play it out for the seat - but that would have been too simple, and made everyone too happy.

Oh they are reporting the seat to the gov? That is so annoying because they aren't required to.
