Do you have any basis for your claims or do you just like spewing nonsense? Maybe 55 is optimistic but not egregiously so. All the $1.1k mixed game tournaments over the last couple months in the states have gotten 40-60 runners and none of those took place before a $5 milly guaranteed. I'm hoping for 6 tables.

I'd be really happy for that type of turn out. There is absolutely no mixed game player base in South Florida. The 6/12 - 20/40 HOSE that runs occasionally at the Isle is basically a home game, but that's it. Places like Borgata, Vegas, & Commerce all have mixed game action on a pretty regular basis. This tournament will be 100% traveling players, which is fine, but someone asked for opinions so I offered mine. Not sure where the hostility is coming from.

People would play a game of Monopoly if it awarded a ring

It's prime season in south FL that's why everything is high. This is tourist season

I've found priceline to be pretty good in this area. Last two times, got 4* in Plantation for much cheaper than the rack rate.

So the satellite into event 14 (the eight game mix) is just no limit hold em? It would be awesome if it was an eight game mix satellite.

Bill played in the $2200 SAT last night. When we went downstairs everyone was put on table number 1. When we asked for another table we were told that only Dave could do that and he wasn't in. Please see that this doesn't happen again!

I only see one satellite each for event #12 and #14, are there others?

There was a satellite for Event #12 last night. During the series, there is only one more for each.

William, I'm really disappointed that the main event is best stack forward. Can you take a few minutes to read the thread on this topic?

There are many issues with that format.

We have read the thread and will be more than happy to discuss the matter in person if you are here for the series.

Mr. Mason, can the 5/10+ Holdem and 5/5+ PLO be upstairs in the cash room for the duration of the series like it was in August? Maybe save that side room for just the 2/5 NL games?

+1.

In addition to the ones Chainsaw has highlighted, I think it could be proven pretty easily that it's very -EV to re-enter into tournament once you have a Day 2 stack (unless you're cheating), so allowing it seems like a pretty exploitative way to make money off of people who may not understand this or sickos WDGAF.

You can't protect people from themselves

You guys realize that when chips get removed from play that it's a good thing for everyone else in the tournament right? Your chips increase in value
