I have had 50 people tell me they are playing that would not even consider playing a regular 5K and I will bet many of them don't even look at a structure sheet. Their questions will include "how many chips do we start with," "how much is 1st place," "when is the dinner break," and "how long is the tournament?"

This structure is GREAT as it IS!

30,000 in chips with 40, 60, and 90 minute levels is PLENTY of play.

7 days is LONG enough for ANY tournament and as the leader of the "WE NEED MORE CHIPS" movement you should be able to see that.

Great sponsored players like you will learn how to adjust, if you don't you can just reenter.

Trying to get them to pay more spots (300) and $1,500,000 for 1st and $1,000,000 for 2nd based on exactly $10,000,000 (2,000 players or less). Their standard pay for 1st would pay about $1.7M for 1st and about 200 would be ITM. My goal is to pay the final 100 players to get a good payday in a massive field.

I like Matt's payout idea. It's good for most of us pros to reduce variance and def good for the host casino with more money staying with their players. 1.5m first place sounds really nice advertising wise as well.

At first, I read it as Matt wants the top 100 players to get decent payouts as oppose to how top heavy most tournaments are. But not sure now. That would be nice.
