Take out 25-50, add 250-500/50. Other than that looks good.

@MaverickUSC Thanks for your feedback, I like the suggestion.
@veeRob There are already 30 people in. We get 300+ for our $1,100s, but there has never been this big of a buyin in MN...so that is the biggest guarantee we could do. Maybe next year it will be bigger! The buyin is $2350+150.

I really hate that the breakdown is not listed on the promotional materials. It is 2012, this is mandatory now. Appreciate you coming here and clearing it up, but you need to fix any ads that are going to print or are on the web immediately.
Can you please explain how the 1st place $75k guarantee works? There has been controversy with guaranteed 1st places before. Will you be modifying the payout structure so that money is taken from other positions to pay 1st $75k? Or is there a payout structure and you will be adding funds to make 1st $75k if it does not get that high?

I like adding 250-500 and keeping everything else. What part of the $2500 buyin goes to the prize pool. Where is this located. Is this a real casino with rooms or just a poker room.

You could go to www.runningacesharness.com and see for yourself. It's similar to Canterbury Park, except they offer harness instead of thoroughbred racing.

@doublejoker It's 2350+150. Located 30 miles north of the twin cities, in Columbus MN. We are a high-end card room with dining and horse racing. No slots or attached rooms, but we have several options of nearby hotels. Feel free to PM me or contact me at twilberg@runningacesharness.com if you would like more info.
@veeRob If we were to have less than 75k in the prize pool, we would add to accommodate. If needed we would shift the other payouts to accommodate first, but I don't think that is a real concern here. 30 in already, our first super satellite and qualifier both had good showings, and the event is still a month away.

Re: Running Aces (MN) $2,500 Buyin. 75k Guaranteed 1st Place. August 11th
Somebody posted that the casino is only taking a $150 rake on the buy in. But I was just @ Running Aces website and looked at the flyer and it only says that $75,000 is guaranteed for first; 15% of the field gets paid; and 3% is being withheld for dealers. It makes no mention of any rake whatsoever. Is there in fact a rake? If so, it should be posted on the site.

It's $2350 less 3% plus $150 so about $2280 plus $220 if I did that right.

Yes, $2,350+$150. And then 3% of the prize pool is withheld for the dealers.
