And yea the wsop dealers are always the worst.

Re: Wsop dealers (daily tourny)

I think a lot of them were trained as early as this year. WSOP had a dealer school in January or something

The ones dealing the daily 235 were the literal worst I've ever seen, but I guess it's hard to avoid since they need so many

Re: Wsop dealers (daily tourny)

Only 91 players in the 6 p.m. daily deep stack. Almost 20% got paid since the payouts jump from 1 to 2 tables (18 places) when the 91st player signs up. The last few places barely get their money back.

Can vouch for ~50% of the dealers in the 6 p.m. being very bad. Hopefully they're rusty or new and they'll get the hang of it soon. A few were top notch, but others needed help with almost everything.

Reg for daily DS's is at diff window inside Pavillion, not where the bracelet event reg is. Lines not bad anytime now altho they'll get longer. Reg is open for 2 hours past start either way...

Not sure if they've changed it this year, but normally you can register for the Deep Stacks at either spot, the main cage or the satellite windows. The Deep stack line at the Satellite Cage curls around to the right. The windows + line on the left is Single Table Satellite only. Sometimes they'll have windows that are only for the Megas... but if you walk up to it, they'll still buy you in to either the Deep Stack or Mega (usually).

Re: Wsop dealers (daily tourny)

When I last played, in 2010, I had some of the same dealers in bracelet and the Daily Deep stack events. I figured they were just on a rotation?

I read online that in event #2, a dealer got pulled after screwing up the first hand!

1 week 'till I get to the Rio... Hopefully all the kinks are ironed out.

I've asked a mod to consolidate into a single thread, which was visible on front page of this forum.

Field size and prize pool depend on when you will be there. Tends to ramp up as series progresses. The fields are fairly soft.

Be careful with these. I played the first One two days ago and while the field was very weak both the blind and payout structure are pretty bad. It became a shovefest before we even reached the money. I finished well into the money (16) and still barely go double a buyin.
